The BBC Singers are the United Kingdom’s only full-time professional chamber choir, renowned for their exceptional versatility and commitment to contemporary and classical choral music. Established in 1924, the ensemble has built a distinguished career performing a wide repertoire that spans early music, Renaissance polyphony, Baroque masterpieces, Romantic works, and cutting-edge contemporary compositions. The choir regularly features on BBC Radio 3 broadcasts and performs at major UK festivals like the BBC Proms, showcasing their adaptability across diverse musical styles.
