Bang on a Can All-Stars are a renowned American post-minimalist ensemble, formed in 1996 as an extension of the Bang on a Can collective founded in 1987 by composers Michael Gordon, David Lang, and Julia Wolfe. The All-Stars – currently featuring Gordon, Wolfe, Robert Black (percussion), Mark Stewart (guitar), and Vicky Chow (piano) – are celebrated for their energetic performances and boundary-pushing approach to contemporary music.

Their repertoire spans a vast range, encompassing original compositions by the founding members alongside works by Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Brian Eno, and collaborations with artists across genres like Ornette Coleman and Thurston Moore.
