Alon Goldstein is an internationally acclaimed pianist recognized for his commanding technique, insightful interpretations, and vibrant stage presence. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, he began piano studies at age five and quickly distinguished himself, winning the First Prize in the 1993 International Chopin Competition in Hartford, Connecticut. He further honed his skills at the Juilliard School with Herbert Stessin and Oxana Yablonskaya.

Goldstein’s repertoire spans a vast range, from Bach and Mozart to Rachmaninoff and contemporary composers. He is particularly celebrated for his nuanced performances of Romantic-era works and his compelling interpretations of Chopin. A frequent soloist with leading orchestras worldwide – including the Boston Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, and Israel Philharmonic – he has collaborated with conductors such as Itzhak Perlman and Leonard Slatkin.

Beyond orchestral appearances, Goldstein is a dedicated chamber musician, performing regularly with renowned ensembles. He's released several critically acclaimed recordings on labels like Naxos and Onyx Classics, often focusing on single composer explorations. His dedication to education is evident through masterclasses and teaching engagements globally. He currently serves on the faculty of the Peabody Conservatory.
