Alma Naidu is a critically acclaimed Indian jazz vocalist and songwriter celebrated for her multilingual performances and unique blend of jazz, blues, Hindustani classical, and world music influences. Born in Mumbai, she began her musical journey with Hindustani classical training before gravitating towards jazz while studying at the Musicians Institute College of Contemporary Music in Los Angeles.

Naidu’s discography includes albums like “Immersed” (2009), praised for its sophisticated arrangements and lyrical depth, and "Luminary" (2016), which further solidified her reputation as an innovative vocalist. She frequently performs original compositions alongside interpretations of classic jazz standards, often incorporating poetry in Hindi, Urdu, and English into her sets.

A frequent collaborator, Alma has shared stages with prominent musicians like Zakir Hussain and Louis Banks.
