Alex Weitz is a highly sought-after American multi-instrumentalist, composer, and arranger specializing in woodwinds – primarily clarinet, saxophone, and flute – and increasingly, vintage synthesizers. He’s become a cornerstone of the contemporary jazz and experimental music scenes in New York City and beyond.

Weitz’s career spans collaborations with prominent artists like Snarky Puppy (appearing on their Grammy-winning album *Culcha Vol. Ten*), Theo Bleckmann, and Becca Stevens. He's a founding member of the critically acclaimed ensemble, Sun June, known for their dream-pop infused jazz sensibilities. His solo work centers around intricate compositions blending improvisation with electronic textures and often incorporates field recordings.
