Adrian Crutchfield is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer hailing from Washington, D.C., known for his versatile contributions across diverse musical landscapes. Initially gaining recognition as a member of the alternative R&B group Black Milk Collective alongside Oddisee and Has-Lo, Crutchfield established himself as a foundational figure in the DMV’s burgeoning independent music scene.

He later became a core member of the Grammy-nominated band Butcher Brown, showcasing his prowess on saxophone, keyboard, and vocals. Beyond performing, Crutchfield is a sought-after session musician and producer, lending his talents to artists like Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals (appearing on their Grammy-winning album *Ventura*) and Robert Glasper.

His solo work blends jazz improvisation with hip-hop sensibilities and electronic textures, evidenced in projects like his 2019 EP *Still Growing*. Crutchfield’s style is characterized by its fluid interplay between genres and emphasis on soulful melodies.
