Aalborg Symfoniorkester (Aalborg Symphony Orchestra) is a Danish orchestra based in Aalborg, North Jutland, with a history stretching back to 1923, originally founded as a private orchestral society. Today, it’s a cornerstone of the cultural life in the region and a professionally-staffed ensemble funded by the state, regional municipality, and private donations.

The orchestra performs a broad repertoire spanning classical and romantic works alongside contemporary compositions, frequently commissioning new pieces from Danish composers. Known for its accessibility and innovative programming, Aalborg Symfoniorkester actively engages with the local community through educational concerts and outreach programs.

Throughout its history, the orchestra has collaborated with internationally renowned soloists including Joshua Bell and Hilary Hahn. It regularly performs at Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center, its primary concert venue. Under current Principal Conductor, Giordano Bellincampi (appointed 2018), the orchestra has received critical acclaim for its dynamic performances and artistic growth, solidifying its position as a significant force within the Danish orchestral landscape.
