Ray Chen is a highly acclaimed and accomplished classical violinist known for his exceptional talent, charismatic stage presence, and impeccable technique. Born in Taiwan in 1989, Chen began playing the violin at the age of four and quickly demonstrated prodigious skill. He later moved to Australia where he studied at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music.

Chen's career skyrocketed after winning the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition in 2008. This victory served as a launching pad for his international recognition and led to numerous engagements with renowned orchestras around the world. He has collaborated with distinguished conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Zubin Mehta, and Valery Gergiev.
