Allman Brothers Band

The band's original lineup consisted of Duane Allman (guitar), Gregg Allman (vocals, keyboards), Dickey Betts (guitar), Berry Oakley (bass), Butch Trucks (drums), and Jaimoe Johanson (drums). Tragically, Duane Allman died in a motorcycle accident in 1971, but the band continued to achieve success with various lineup changes over the years.

The Allman Brothers Band is best known for their iconic live performances, which often featured extended improvisational jams that showcased the incredible musicianship of each member. Their groundbreaking album "At Fillmore East" from 1971 is widely regarded as one of the greatest live albums of all time.
